The dead do not sleep. The dead do not eat. The dead most certainly do not laugh. Mark was a normal person before the outbreak, before he was bitten by his own father, before everything went to hell in a handbasket. Now he lives under the hospital with his trusty cat Buckwheat, hiding from the daylight and wondering why him, out of all the infected, has to "live" with the curse of sanity after his demise. After an explosion at a medical lab downtown a group of teenagers set out to find missing loved ones. While heading to the hospital they run into a girl, who's being chased by two men who seem to be desperate to take a bite out of her. While saving her they notice one of the men is missing part of his face. Will they be able to make it to safety, or will they become one of the dead. Throw on top of it that one of them seems to be getting visions of the future and they learn a startling piece of information about how the dead have come back to life.Complete
