What do you do when you find your mate and find out she's already married to someone?

Chaunsey Alvez is the chunky little white American mutt girl, who doesn't know where her origins in her family's past even start. She knows her family is decendents to some European countries, but there are more and her family can't be straight about it. Her husband on the other hand is Hispanic, family coming from Mexico and Puerto Rico. Nothing else really there. They seem like the normal military familiy when it came to Jacksonville, NC.

Mike Aiken was the typical infantryman, doing his job as the Corps told him. His job was just for the thrill. He had a secret though that no one really knew about. Of course there were people who knew, and the military did as well, but him and his whole unit shared that same secret.

Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Or you are smart and you just pretend to be dumb so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. All her life Avery Skinner has been told what to do and how to do it- by everyone. By her mother, the girls she calls friends, the guys in school, teachers, family, even Mark the mailman. Needless to say, she's sick of it. Its time Avery took control of her life or at least get a firm grip on the sucker. She's loved football ever since she was a little girl. Yet she could never play because ladies aren't supposed to do such barbaric things. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. There will be hard moments, but I want to put it out there because it IS a serious problem. Harsh language and such will be present. You have been warned, don't read it then complain. Hot Summer Night by JeniRaeD

Sixteen years ago, my sisters and I moved from France to the United States to live the American dream. Not long after, I met Declan, a marine who was home for his mother's funeral. He was my everything, my world, and the love of my life. Four and a half years later, I became his fiancée. Then, when I thought everything was going well, my world ended when I awoke to him gone. No note, no nothing. He was just gone. I waited days, weeks, and months to hear from him and for his return. That never happened. Then, I met Chadwick, who took the pieces of my broken heart and put them back together. He promised me many things during our dating years, guaranteeing he'd give me the world. And he was. Then, after years of not wanting to give my entire heart to him, fearing he'd do what Declan had done, I pushed the fear of him leaving me aside and married him. The night we married, instead of giving me the world he promised, I was gifted a nightmare. For over six years, I lived in a lake of fire. If I wasn't locked in a dark, cold room for days on end, day and night, I was tormented, punished, abused, and tortured in the blackest darkness until I could no longer see, talk, or move. Maltreating me until he broke me. Finally, one of my prayers was answered when an ally close to Chadwick helped me escape the prison of hell. She flew me out of New York and brought me to her friend's home in Mobile, Alabama, where I got the shock of my life. He wasn't just her "friend." He was a ghost from my past, and now I'm in his care. Oh, and he has a child nearly as old as our breakup.

"She's my mate!" Zane yelled causing both the man and I to widen our eyes. Mate? Is Zane Australian? "No. That's not possible. She's-" Zane cut him off with a blow to the jaw. "Get out before I throw you out of the pack." I took a step back from the boys and shifted uncomfortably. "Pack? Look I don't know what kind of cult thing you guys are involved with but I just want to go back to my old life." The man laughed. "Babe, your old life doesn't exist anymore." "Don't call her that," Zane growled and pushed him out the door. I walked over to the couch and sat down, holding my head in my hands. "Hey," Zane sat next to me and put his hand on my shoulder, sending bolts of electricity through my body. I quickly stood up and looked at Zane. "What was that?" Zane smiled and shrugged. • • • Devina Stavros, believe it or not, never hated her life. She didn't despise the name calling and occasional pushes and shoves. She didn't mind the constant absence of her mother or the fact that the only living being who cared for her was her goldfish, Mr. Freddles. She learned to accept her life. She knew the things people at school and her mother pounded into her head were true. She was just a little nerd. But after a mysterious animal attack at her high school, everything changes and nothing makes sense anymore. The things she's read about in childhood fairy tales and seen on television are all true. Werewolves. Vampires. Witches. Everything.

(Sample. Watch out for the official book release on January 31, 2015!) The women in Brianne Montgomery's family have a curse. And she isn't going to be the first one to break it. At the age of fourteen, she decided she will be married before she was thirty. Her life seemed perfect. Her parents were happily married. She has a wonderful brother who looks out for her. The only thing she hates about it is Travis Cross, her brother's annoying best friend, a.k.a. the boy who sleeps in the guest room and her worst enemy. Her life took a sudden three-sixty, with a tragedy that made her lose everything she held dear in her perfect life. But amidst all that, Travis swore that he will protect Brianne for the rest of his life. Soon, their hate relationship turned into an unbreakable bond of brotherly love and friendship. But their dependent and comfortable friendship will always be complicated because although Travis promised to protect her at all times, at all costs, there's a beast inside him that craves for Brianne like a drug. And Brianne isn't always immune to Travis's charms. But she already lost so much and Travis has become the most important thing she couldn't afford to gamble with. This romance novel starts when the characters were fifteen years old and followed their lives into adulthood and all the complications in it including sexual tensions and raging hormones, dealing with family, death and teen peer pressure... all of which make up the deep and unbreakable connection of Travis and Brianne. A relationship so beautiful, they're afraid to risk it for anything... not even for love itself.
The Artist's Perspective by Hollowemka

"Did you ever think about perspective? It's a funny thing. People are essentially looking at the same, but everyone sees something different. And I can't help but feel like I see something that isn't suppose to be there. Something...completely out of the picture." People can go through many horrible things and live. Emma Gonzalez knows that better than most, though she would hardly admit to the hell she went through. After spending years separated from her siblings by a tragedy that can't be undone, she is back with her family, starting a new life. New house, new school, new people. She got a chance to start over and she intends to use it for the best. But can she really do that with the shadows of her past always behind her? Noah Knight thought his life couldn't get worse. His love life went to hell and his personal seem to want to follow right behind. He needed a break. But a new school year is here, which means new homework and exams. Yay! Though after discovering the arrival of new kids, he believes things might take a turn. He is proven correct when a blond beauty with unique eyes walks in with her brothers and trouble starts to show it's face to the world. After getting tangled in her crazy world full of art, talking food, soccer and horror toilet, he believes he should have sat this one out. Too late now. Hi guys! This is my very first story, so constructive criticism, pointing out grammar errors and tipos is welcomed. English isn't my mother language, so I would appreciate your help. Warning: This book will involve adult content such as mature language, bullying, child abuse and rape. If there is someone reading this who went through the things listed above, I want you to know that you are not alone. You are loved and very strong to continue fighting, and I'm sorry about everything you went and probably still are going through. If you want to talk with a stranger for a different perspective, my chat is always open for you. SLOW UPDATES!
