Ruby's alone, dying in an abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods. Her strength is gone, her semblance spent, and it's easy enough to just let the on-slot of childhood memories flood her senses as she lets the darkness take her. But when a Beowolf finds her, suddenly she realizes she doesn't want to die. And just who comes back from the dead to help her?
