Miss Abigail "Abi" Dalton is relaxing at home when she hears noises not so common in her small town. She stops a murder in it's tracks and decides to help the young girl who was almost killed. She feels that no one deserves to be treated like this girl. She reports the incident to the police and gets to know the girl she saved, Michaela, a lot better. The police continue to investigate. The problem is, this guy is not showing up in any databases. Abi and Michaela go through really rough patches together to help the police. All the while they are gaining trust and love for each other. While the investigation continues, Michaela finds out that the almost-murder was part of something much more personal than she imagined, and Abi finds love in a place she never thought she could. Can Michaela and Abi pull it off together?
