They were in a parallel universe. Of course they did not realize this, as most people don't. The Noora and William we know in this universe is our reality, but a few things are different. Such as Eva never exsisting and being replaced by new people you've never met, or by Noora's terrible past catching up to her. Events and people are different and you will notice these things. When you do notice these things, do not be alarmed because this is not your universe, it is only a mirror image of what your universe could be.
I do not own any of these characters and some dialogue is taken from the original story. The ideas that are changed are one hundred percent mine. If you have any intention of translating it to another language, please let me know. And if you have any intention of stealing this book, please do not because the consequences will be disastrous.

"I'm scared." I mumbled as I let out a sob. I didn't want to deal with the problems of my past and I definitely didn't want William to find out what terrible things I did.
"I know but that means you're human." He smiles at me, trying to get a smile out of me. It wasn't going to happen but it was worth a try.
"Can you just hold me for now." I grip his shirt as he wraps his arms around me, securing me with warmth.
"Stay close to me." He whispered as I smiled.
I wasn't going to let him go, not without a fight.
