Dans un monde où règne terreur et guerre se trouve quatre nations qui sont à l'origine de ce massacre. La nation du feu dirigeait par le roi Adamaï. Celui-ci possède un fils, petit génie de la maîtrise de feux. Le roi a déclaré la guerre à la nation de l'eau qui, eux, ont plié genoux face à la nation de l'air pour pouvoir obtenir leur aide. La dernière nation, celle de la terre a été exterminer par le roi Adamaï, maintenant surnommer le roi fou. Au-delà de ce massacre se trouve un survivant de la nation de la terre, ancien prince de celle-ci. 

Lors d'une prise d'otages le prince de la nation du feu va rencontrer le prince de la nation de la terre, mais il va tout ignorer de son identité. Les deux jeunes hommes vont faire connaissance puis devenir amis, mais l'ancien prince pourra-t-il gardait ce secret longtemps .
