Lightning and Starlight
After a careless scientific accident with new elements, people with supernatural abilities began to surface. Society adjusted, and social norms changed. Heroes and villians surfaced, making the world more complicated. Fast-forward one hundred years. Neera Sanchez fights for her survival as a supervillain. She does what she can to survive, inadvertently making her a target for the heroes. Behind her mask, she struggles in personal battles, alone. When her abusive boyfriend and her own fight against depression overtake her, she's introduced to the world of superheroes. Vincent Ciobanu is a new hero at a local base. She had felt the impact and acted on it, diving to the ground. She had a better fighting chance against the six when they were caught off guard.
