Mercy

Shawn is the boy next door. He is kind, creative and family-oriented. His father left when he was two years old and has been raised by his hard-working mother. He quickly befriends a girl named Emery, when her family, the Bishops, move into the home next door. The Bishops quickly fix up the home so it is the most expensive looking on the block. Despite the socio-economic differences of the two, they quickly become inseparable, that is until 7th grade. At this time, things like status, popularity and wealth become the main focus in Emery's life. Our story takes place twelve years later, where Shawn is faced with a difficult decision. He must either choose to put his life on hold or keep a distance from what could potentially be a rollercoaster of emotions. Join him while he begs for mercy on his heart.
