They are the only things the people around her hold onto in order to not let the emptiness of their souls flow out and swallow them whole. 

So, they cling.

They cling on so hard that even Carmen doesn't know how to differentiate her self from her masks. 

This is the story of how a girl manages to lose herself in the riches, in the lies, of how she gets lost in the fast lane and tries desperately to find meaning in her life.
