Lukas and Thomas live in 1950's America. They have everything a person could want. Happy families, good academics, athletic ability, and friends. 

 Thomas and Lukas view their romance like a Romeo and Juliet love story. They know people wont accept them but they are blind at the extent of their hatred.

 This story is about two boys slowly realizing that the world hates them. They begin to see that all the world see's is that they are slut, criminals, and mentally ill.
