'Pre, hindi muna ako makakasama sayo ha. May kailangan kaseng bilhin sa bahay eh', yan ang wika ni Eric kay Richard.

Isang araw ng Linggo iyon, si Richard ay kilalang kristo ng sabungan, ika nga'y yan ang kanyang propesyon at talaga namang lahat ng bigating sabungero sa kanilang lugar ay kilala nya.

'Ano ka ba, Eric, maganda ang laban ngayon. May entry sina mayor ngayon, di ba sila ang nag-champion nung nakaraan?! Ako ang bahalang mamili ng pupustahan mo. Trust me!' 

Nang dahil sa sinabi ni Richard na yon, nagbago ang isip ni Eric at sya nga'y sumama na patungong sabungan. Panalo ang una nilang pusta, yong pangalawa at ganon din pati pangatlo. Subali't naging gahaman si Eric, ipinusta nya lahat ang kanyang napanalunan sa pang-apat na laban.  Maganda ang ipinakitang laban ng manok na kanilang pinili, subalit kalaunan ito'y naging Luz Valdez!

Tapos ang kapalaran ni Eric. Kakamot-kamot sa ulong tinunton ang daan pauwi ng bahay. 

Pagdating doo'y laking pagtataka nya nang makitang nagkakagulo ang mga tao sa bahay nila. 

'Teka, anong nangyayari?' wika ni Eric. 

'Asan na ang gamot na pinabibili ko sayo, Eric?' galit na tanong na salubong ng kanyang ina.

'Ah eh, kwan po eh', kakamot-kamot sa ulong tugon ni Eric. 

'Kung nakainom lang sana ng gamot sa tamang oras ang lolo mo, madurugtungan pa sana ang buhay nya.'Todos los derechos reservados
