Jessica Sparrow is the famed daughter of the even more famous Captain Jack Sparrow. she has inherited the Black Pearl from her father and captains it along with her first mates, twins Eric Swan and Wylla Turner. they each hold a place in the brethren court as their parents once did. but times are hard for the pirates. while usually there is only a king in times of war, war has become normal for the 5th court. therefore Jessica is a queen of the court while Wylla and Eric are princesses and princes. along with them are the king, 4 other queens and a duke. But when one of the queens of the court goes missing, the colors are hoisted and a meeting of the court is called.

Pirates don't really fall in love, but he's willing to bend the rules to be with her. And yes the inspiration was the movie Tangled. I hope you enjoy this book. I plan on making a Jack sparrow daughter one! Disclaimer: This doesn't take place in or after a particular movie, it's my own story. Ella, heartbroken, attempts to show her father how brave and independent she is. Will she succeed, or will her actions have the worst possible consequences?
