It's Pidge's birthday, that much is known, but what bothers Keith is how careless Lance has become. Jealousy gets the best of him and Keith makes a few mistakes, causing him to flip out. With Lance now mad at Keith and Keith trying to control himself, things get worse when Lance's childhood friend, Naomi, comes for a visit.

Lance is a frequent visitor to the Altea Club. He and his friends have known the owner since they were little so it's no surprise that they celebrate Pidges 20th birthday there. However, Lance is distracted by his ex-girlfriend being there as well and seeks comfort in alcohol and the only familiar face he trusts himself to be around during that time- Alters bartender, Keith. They go to the same college, and have the same friends. Despite Lance insisting in a rivalry existing between them, Keith cares for him deeply and from time to time, it shows. When Lance makes a move on him, Keith can't hold himself back and gives in. From then on, the air between them is full of tension and awkwardness, and their friends soon get fed up with it. There will be smut in every part cuz that's basically what this fic is about... xD They discover they like each other through it, as well as some fluffy scenes. The chapters are each roughly 16.000 words in length so... well. It'll be a four chapter book, do the math yourself. If you're looking for something short, look for something else. Sometimes people are a lot different then you think. The first minute Lance steps into his new school he's warned about Keith Kogane. They say he's like the devil, the meanest guy you will ever meet. Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information.
