Driving home after a bad day, Danielle "Dan" Lent is transported from her car into a subterranean laboratory. Confused and disoriented, she has no choice but to trust the stranger Ric, who claims to be a time agent. He recruits Dan to investigate illegal time travel. 

However, Dan finds herself caught in a loop of time switches, thrown back and forth between the lab and a rainy parking lot where a stray border collie offers her company.
