Meylem'Acere has a twisted and untrue recorded history. The past has caught up to the future; legends once again roam the earth and the skies. Creatures called Nymerae were once part of these legends, but when one of the plague-bearing infectors wants her secrets kept safe - when the knowledge of her weaknesses becomes threatened with exposure - she'll stop at nothing until she is certain the true past remains lost. Years past, in the age that tore the Dragon Lords from their places as the gods of Meylem'Acere, Enahkil's youngest royal - Inaera - wanted freedom, and a crown of her own. She got what she wanted in the end, but for a devastatingly unfair price. Anna is a confused and hopeful artist in the new age; she desperately wants answers to the questions about her past and the institute that summoned her to the elven forests of Trii, and only strangers can provide them, but they come with a cost. These two young women have worlds resting on their shoulders. Inaera’s memories, as well as those of her enemy, hold the key to the events surrounding the war that will eventually resurface to destroy the new age, and all the secrets of the second Ashenmoor. The Crallis crystals had always been tampered with by the Nymerae that once resided in the blackened land and citadel of Arkanon, and they were never supposed to be used to harbour memories of the ages past, so how much of the past can the chosen ones recover before insanity finally settles in?

When dreams stop being dreams, things get confusing. Anna is back - back in a place she once thought was just a product of her imagination. The silvery locks, bluish-grey eyes, and the pointed ears prove that much. Her dreams were memories. The same memories that led up to her death... well, her first death, before she slipped through a crack in the Halls of Mandos. Ash, blood, and fire haunt her, the sounds of a dying, burning city echoing in her head whenever she tries to rest. Coming back from death is never easy. Death leaves scars on one's very soul, but who better to heal those wounds than the company of her kin? There's only one problem. Returning to her kin in Arda means facing the elf she sacrificed her life for. The one whose heart she broke all those years ago. But she doesn't have an option to stay away. Every day the call of the sea grows stronger for him, and it's not his time just yet. He is their emissary, and it's time they finally gave something back. Even if that something happens to be the love he's convinced he lost years ago. I do not own the image on the cover and it has been used entirely for non-profit, but if the owner wishes for me to take it down, then please inform me. I also don't own Lord of the Rings - this is called a fanfiction for a reason.
