Broken hearts are everyone's worst nightmare; even for Levi. The crushing realization that you screwed up on something that you worked so hard to achieve, the constant reminder whenever they look at you, the agonizing pain it brings... It could completely destroy a person. Like it did Levi.
Levi has never been the same ever since his fall out with Eren. He loved him and he worked so hard to keep him... He still doesn't even know what he did wrong. The pain destroyed his life, and now he hates so many more people because of this pain. He hates everyone, even himself. He wants Eren back so much, the memories of them being together shatters him. Each day and night screws him over as his mind slips between sane and insane, sad and angry, desperate and content, lost and confused. He so desperately wants to let go, to leave those memories behind, maybe even hate Eren... but he can't... because he hates everyone, but Eren.
