When Raven is kidnapped and brutally tortured by Slade, or Deathstroke as he prefers to be called nowadays, she can never forget the pain that he inflicted on her, and this starts to change her in more ways than one.
     Raven becomes a completely different person, in which the Titans notice and decide to help her in some way, anyway possible.
     Damian was away training with Bateman at the time and only just comes back, only to find one of the only people in the world who'd really understood him completely different and cold.
     Damian is determined to help Raven, because of some pull towards her that he's always felt, even if she herself doesn't want it.
