They wanted to see how far they could push me until I broke. They wanted to see me act insane, and this time I thought I'd give them the full performance.

My anger grew as Kent turned to high-five all his laughing friends. I stood rapidly. He was much taller than me, but rising to my full 5 feet 8 inches, I felt stronger and scarier than he could ever be. I tapped his shoulder smiling wickedly. Turning his blond haired head slowly, he didn't have any time to react before I pulled back my arm and punched his stupid smiling face.

I would have loved to see the look of exploding pain cross his face but suddenly my attention was drawn to the back of the room. In the dim corner stood a dark figure about 6 feet tall. He wore a long coat and a hat. Below his shoes, a cloud of darkness squirmed like tangible threads of anger were wrapped happily at his feet.

I shivered briefly. I had seen him before, about a billion times, but his presence never meant anything good. I wasn't supposed to be able to see him anymore. He wasn't real. I was scared stiff, but I turned my head and ignored his shimmering presence. I knew if I were to look again he’d already be gone.

This is definitely a work in progress, so I'm sorry if you hate it. Haha. I'm working on making it better, I promise. Tell me what you think so far. :D
