In a world overrun by Ulzarians, a powerful alien race, everyone has either been killed or captured and enslaved. At least everyone but a few.

128 boys and girls of ages varying from 15-25 have been spared. Why?

The Ulzarians have set up a tournament. A fight to the death. Only one out of those 128 people will walk away with their life. The winner shall not only gain the Ulzarians respect, but a place at the head of the empire.

19 year old Zack Galleby never thought that he would ever have to kill anyone in his life, nor has he ever wanted to. But in the arena, his only chance is to win the tournament.
