When Kayla's mom gets fed up with her dad's abusing, and cheating she escapes his traps with 2 children on her hands. Once Kayla, her mom, and sibling move to Cali to get away from Detroit, Michigan which held her dad they began to live with their Auntie Jackie and her son. Things go up and down from there but also when her mom struggles to find love and starts looking for love and a sugar daddy all in one. When Kayla 'mysteriously' gets pregnant. Her and her mom have it out with a big fist filled argument. Her mom attempts to put her up for adoption, along with her sibling. She hit a revenge lick, and became the first female hitman of California. Word gets around and she's popping and street respected. As her Detroit attitude never godessly changed, the obvious is pointed out to Kayla, and in the end she learns a valuable lesson that SHE CANT RUN FROM HER PAIN.
