A winter in Spruceoworth can only mean a few things: cheer, festivities, and all-around joy.

       Or not.

It's the season of difficult choices, secrets untold, and struggles for a lot of people. But what else is new? This is Spruceworth, after all.

"I have to choose between two people I love, and I might regret whichever choice I make."

"I need him in my life. We need him in our lives."

"We've been by each other's side since birth. Now we might be separated, and I don't know if I can handle it."

"If your parents find out about us, I can lose everything I have."

"I don't know if I can go through this again."

"I thought I wanted to marry this man. Now, I'm not sure."

"It's not Christmas in Spruceworth without some drama to go around."

Reserved and private, Jon is rocked with a glitter bomb of queer affection when he collides with former crush, Kurt. Jon's an introvert. Kurt's an extrovert. Jon's never had a boyfriend. Kurt's hooked up a hundred times. Jon's devoutly Christian. Kurt said 'f*ck you' to the whole charade of religion that left him hurting and homeless years ago. Kurt's out, rocking his queer identity loud and proud onstage. Jon is...well, it's complicated. He thought he'd made peace with his sexuality, but his role caring for children in a Christian not-for-profit group home doesn't permit him to have a gay relationship. Jon's so stretched carrying full-time school and full-time work, he needs his housemate and best friend, Cary, to remind him to eat. Where would he even find the room for a six-foot tall, fabulously queer boyfriend? When Kurt shows up on Jon's doorstep, hungover and more fragile than he appeared under the spotlights, something has to give. Tentatively rekindling their romance in the nitty-gritty of their adult lives, Jon and Kurt have everything to lose and everything to gain if they take the risk to hold each other close. ☆Featured on the Wattpad @FreetheLGBT and @NA reading lists!☆ Straight/Gay/Bisexual/Trans/Demisexual/Ace. *can be read as a stand-alone, but there will be spoilers from other books* *cover by harleenhollow* With both his boyfriend and older brother in prison, Calvin Eaten has to try his hardest to repress the memories associated with the two. He doesn't want to be reminded of the trouble his older brother has caused in the village of Spruceworth, or the fact that his boyfriend unintentionally killed someone. However, no matter how he tried, Calvin was unable to forget about the boy he's still madly in love with. He made a promise the he would wait for Kenny Simms, and he will keep that promise. If people would choose one word that would sum up Calvin, it would be DRAMA. It seems that wherever he goes, drama follows.
