       A winter in Spruceoworth can only mean a few things: cheer, festivities, and all-around joy.

       Or not.

       It's the season of difficult choices, secrets untold, and struggles for a lot of people. But what else is new? This is Spruceworth, after all.

       "I have to choose between two people I love, and I might regret whichever choice I make."

       "I need him in my life. We need him in our lives."

       "We've been by each other's side since birth. Now we might be separated, and I don't know if I can handle it."

       "If your parents find out about us, I can lose everything I have."

       "I don't know if I can go through this again."

Usually, people Carol's age are getting married, buying their first house, getting their first pet, etc. Her younger sister's doing all that. Good for her right? And she's doing it with Carol's ex. Shaw has never had the best life after his mom passed away. He went into a very dark stage of his life and the only people there for him was Lawrence and Tara Eaton. He thought they would always be there for him. Until he started dating their seventeen year old son. So he gave up on them. However, things never seem to go easy in their relationship. Not only are Holden's parents seem to be out to ruin it, so is someone from Holden's brother's past. Someone out for a vendetta.
