~ This story takes place in Poland, 1941. It is just a portrayal of what happened at the concentration camps during the Holocaust. It is a short story but if it gets enough votes I'll write more;) By: Austin

The Portal To The Guardian (Countryhumans Y/N Story)
This is my first story and I'm really excited. I've had this idea for SO long. This is a countryhumans story featuring Y/N. Although for the majority of the story you won't know who Y/N is, in the end it will be really cool, I hope. Just so you know, Y/N will be a girl, so sorry to those who wanted Y/N to be any other gender. It was a portal. Kind of like those swirly, spiral ones. And it was blood red. Darker at the tips, and whiter at the center. It was beautiful, and definitely not of this world. Boots thudded loudly as USSR ran closer. The Axis look at each other again, this time they nodded in agreement. They stepped into the clearing, feeling a sudden breeze brush against their cheeks. As the trio stepped into the clearing, USSR had finally found them and watched as they stepped through the portal, then without thinking twice, stepped in after them. WARNING: This book features the Axis (Third Reich/Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Japanese Empire), The USSR, and possibly other countries that can be upsetting for some readers. I HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!Complete

Started: 2-26-16 Highest Ranking: #411 in Historical Fiction This book needs to be EDITED this is pretty much a fair warning. There will be multiple grammatical issues and some chapters don't make sense. I will be editing chapters and adding chapters for the next few weeks. The holocaust had already been changing the lives of Jews for six years but in the year 1939, when it becomes rough in Poland, everything changed for these 12 year olds Cole and Jackie Clogsglot. They lived in Poland. At this point of time, Germany just declared war on Poland. Their mother dies unexpectedly in an attack, and their father dies at war. The twins must figure out how to adapt to staying with Mr. Vandel, their neighbor and his nephew, Fin, in his cottage in northern Poland. The only thing that could help was hope. Trigger Warning// This book contains graphic moments during the Holocaust. If you are someone who is quite uncomfortable with that topic, I recommend that you do not read this book.Complete
