Katharine loved adventures and went on them often to avoid real life. Then she meets a guy, gets married and one day their adventure goes too far, propelling them into another world. Time flies by, they settle into this weird bit wonderful way of life and years later they have a family and new friends to call home. 

Although to all these new people Katherine's husband was perfect - even her best friend Bilbo Baggins said so. Until one night he comes home in a fit of rage and nearly kills her, taking her sight.

From then on she suffers abuse of all kinds , So in an effort to get herself out  she makes a break for it but not without more injuries of course.

But little does she know her real adventure is just beginning.
