"I'm so sorry, child. I wish things could be different," He whispered, in a voice so soft that I almost felt for the man who was about to take everything from me. 
"No, you don't," I finally looked at him and smile softly, "But thank you for trying," 


The small town of River has always had its ghost stories. It's most famous one being the boy who went into the woods hundreds of years ago and never came out. Camilla Nichols never paid much attention to the gossip around town, especially since her boyfriends brother went missing a few weeks ago. But when her normal life starts turning upside down and she's brought into this small town secret world, Camilla starts to wonder if maybe some small town legends might be true
