"Think walked into Dream's empty shop, he felt terrible about what had happened and he wanted to apologize. He jumped as the sound of metal parts crashing to the floor punctuated the constant tick of the complicated machines that filled nearly every corner of the shop. He smiled as Dream came out, but she wasn't smiling. She looked terrified. 'Think, I am going to earth.' she said, her voice quivering wildly. Think blinked, 'No, you are being called?' he asked, leaping over the glass counter to be near to her. 'Don't go.' he whimpered, reaching out for her but his hand passed right through her close to invisible body. She was solid a minute ago. She opened her mouth, as if to speak but nothing came out. Instead she pointed to a oddly shaped trinket, with a little blanket draped over it. He returned his gaze to Dream but she was already gone. Nothing could be done. Tears climbed up his throat but he pushed them out of the way, everybody on Cog would go to earth someday. He knew that, instead he reached under the blanket for the key and turned it, and the trinket beneath whirred to life. "
