A virus originates in Kenya, Africa affecting billions of people. The virus spreads through and kills everyone in every country except the U.S. A few people from each country managed to escape before they got the Jawson virus. They all fled to America where it was safe. These people lost everyone they loved and in despite of the fact that the U.S. didn't step in with a cure, the people that fled (AKA The Escapists), killed the U.S government and started killing off people one by one in a system called The Death Trials. The main character Sam Masen, and her friends Abby, Annie, Jason, and Chris try to stop the Death Trials, but will they succeed?

{WATTPAD FEATURED STORY, NOVEMBER 2017} Welcome to the Grove. Two years after a devastating sickness swept the planet, the surviving human population barricaded itself into walled cities, shutting off the outside. While these self-preserving men and women tried to repopulate the lost Earth, the remaining scraps of society, the children orphaned by disease, were thrust into the wilderness. This is the Grove. My people, my tribe. When the world denied us salvation, we banded together with only one common goal: survive. We call ourselves the Ravens. Welcome to the wild. MAY BE TRIGGERING IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19. PLEASE PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING/QUARANTINE //cover by @sophgray
