John is the "out" kid in his town in Washington. But not much people accept him in school,the only ones that do is is dad,sister and cousins. His cousins,jake and Jade,live with him after they're home on an island was in a disastrous accident.

Dave is the new kid in town and in school. He's gay but when he hears about how they treat John he doesn't dare come out. But he sees everything they're doing to John in the first week there he breaks. He accidentally punched one of Johns bullies!They get to know each other well. Well, after the battle to get John to trust him. Because he's a liar.
