I couldn't handle it anymore. I peered over the short wall at the edge of the building, looking down to the rushing street 50 stories below. I don't want to live anymore. I'm so tired of fighting this. I closed my eyes and tilted my head up towards the sky, taking in one last breath of fresh air. I let it out shakily as I placed both hands flat on the wall. My brothers sad face flashed behind my closed eyes and I felt tears start to build up in the corners.
"Forgive me Roman," I whispered quietly as I hoisted myself up onto the wall.
I spread my arms out to keep my balance as I looked up at the sky, refusing to look down to where I would soon be splattered on the pavement.
This world had had enough of the killer Evelynn Greene.
I lifted one foot, ready to step off of the wall.
And then I heard his voice, the voice that changed every single thing about my life.
"It gets better you know," he had said. If only he knew how wrong he was. If only I hadn't listened to him. If only I had jumped, maybe I wouldn't have killed him. Maybe I wouldn't have fallen in love.

Blade's eyes turned cold. Like a dark colored ocean that just froze. He took a frightening step forward so now his face was only inches from my face, even with his height, making my breath hitch in my throat. I could no longer breath. "It's okay little one," he said as came closer to me. I felt so tiny in his presence, especially in wolf form. He knelt down and tried to move closer but I whimpered and backed up more into the tree. He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it.
