In a village called Talhaki, you are given a sword when you are born.

When you are old enough you decide what design animal you want to be on your sword. When you die you become that animal and your sword disappears.

Zalaki a young boy, who lives in Talhaki has had his sword stolen. He has no memory of what he chose for his animal and is worried about his journey in the after life.
