Every one who was left on planet Earth now has some sort of Dot on their arm. These Dot's are what allow people to live normal lives. Each colour of Dot means different personality traits, having at least one get's you a job, a partner, and an education.
Kit developed a Dot at age 4; the only problem was, it wasn't just one colour
Nate never had a Dot, and the Major Population centers know that.
Both of them now have to find a way to expose just what it is that makes a Dot so important, but things are never as they seem. The only thing that keeps them going is one thing:

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. Running from our future
Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? stand up for your uniqueness my mother always told me but in truth that just meant to be like everyone else I grew up with no friends except for hero my pet giraffe- puppy sounds kinda weird but if you lived where I was you'd understand . you see a hundred years ago the world was hit with a chemical blast millions of people died And the survivors were given abilities these abilities were sorted by color and when you were eighteen you would be given that color then if you were bodily able you'd go to a.t.c (abilities training camp ) where you would train your abilities to their strongest until you could fight the "defects " see some of the survivors couldn't handle their abilities so they transformed into twisted creatures that would kill anything they saw as a threat including us as a result thousands died trying to fight them off . and soon I'll be eighteen soon I'll have to fight them soon I'll be one of those thousands (p.s this story isn't a very violent one although it may contain some pretty bloody scenes .)Complete

In this land there are two categories of people, normal humans like the readers and writers of this story and then those who can see the magic and evil. There are animals but there are also magical creatures, some good, some bad and some that are just there. You always stood out from the rest. You had the eyes that held the power to see these creatures. Bright yellowish gold eyes and people were scared of you. They were scared because you were above all of them. Your parents owned this old fashioned city. It was a village the size of a city and it had some modern technology mixed with no technology. You had no friends for for so long and people always bullied you probably because they were scared of you. They didn't know of the magical side of the land. They didn't know that some people can see it. They would only see the creatures if they made themselves seeable. Everything was normal one day, people treating you like trash and you running crying to your mom. But your parents had gotten you something that they know nothing about or take care of but they put the responsibility in your 10 year old hands.Complete
