Bucky Barnes never dared to dream that he could be loved again, especially after what he did for the last near century.
Angeline Ramsey was painstakingly quiet and guarded for a girl her age. But that didn't stop her from dreaming of the perfect parents.
A father that would love and cherish her, a mother that would brush her hair and sing to her. A father that would treat her as if she was his world's princess, and a mother that would tuck her in at night.
However, having been through hell on earth in her short life, she has grown to fear both grown men and women in more ways than one.
When Bucky sees the little girl for the first time, peering with curiosity and fear behind the wall of a safe house, something inside his heart stirs for the first time in nearly 75 years.
