Finding a way to express the weight I carry

Im at a junction in my life and the only way I will smoothly move into my future is by releasing words and energy I have within. I have always been reserved and shy, until recently; Im not necessarily shy now but I'm still reserved. My burden is dense, though on the other end is lightness and freedom; peace. I hold on too long and I pick and choose when to share. My outlet must be found and it must flow freely soon because I am stumbling when I should be flying. This is a personal impromptu writing, now, to me and others who relate.

Reveries and Musings
Everyone, during some point in their life, experiences emotions, situations and adversities that changes them, sometimes for the better, and sometimes, for the worse. And then there are times when we seem to leave our body mentally, to introspect about the world, its workings, and the people living in it. Everyone has that time in their lives where they wonder about how minds work, how relationships thrive, and what makes them, them. Sometimes, it's at night when you're going to bed, and life seems just a little different when there isn't any light illuminating it. Maybe it's in the shower, where tears mix with the water, and go unnoticed. Maybe it's early in the morning, just before dawn, when the idea of starting afresh doesn't seem quite so daunting. But remember. You're you because of your past. And you're no less than anybody else. Join me as I put words to my innermost feelings, as I voice my opinions. Join me as I gather the courage to write down thoughts that run through every person's mind at least once in their lives. Join me as I break conventions, as I rant and rave my way through these emotions, challenges, difficulties, opinions, that have the power to make me, or break me. In the end though, the choice will always be mine.Complete

Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. I'm about to tell you a story about a girl. A normal girl. A girl that had no cares in the world, until her trust for it was stripped away. When you read her story, you'll find yourself trusting her, loving her, rooting for her. But you see, not everyone gets to trust the world. Not everyone has a happy ending. --- Halfway through the kiss however, his attitude changed; instead of being a loving embrace, it became a fierce trap. His grip on her waist tightened, trapped her where she was instead of simply holding her where he wanted her. The hand in her hair grabbed a section of it, enforcing his demand for her not to go anywhere. Before she knew what was happening, he left go of her hair, and pushed her to the ground. She gasped, suddenly able to breathe. He stood up and walked over to her. He placed a soft hand on her cheek, just like he used to when he was telling her how special she was to him. None of the emotion was there this time however, all she could feel radiating from his was rage. "You shouldn't have run off, babe," he said bitterly. "I was about to show you how much I loved you. Instead, I now have to show you what happens when you anger me." --- The men regarded her, before she was shoved to the ground and one produced a whip. There, laying broken on the floor, as the other girls watched, she was whipped. Slowly, she felt her skin breaking in time with her heart and her will.Complete
Behind every mean girl...there's a tragedy
The average human being spends every second of his day fighting against the force of nature to see another day. But I'm different. I'm not afraid of outside forces to take my life away - only myself. Approximately 10 years ago, something happened to me. Something really bad. But I'm not allowed to talk about it. As a way to release my frustration, I give hell to my body and everyone I come in contact with - especially my parents. No one knows about what happened except the ones who did it...and Him. The Best Kept Secret!
They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. The only thing that kept me sane was my good grades throughout school. I got the satisfaction of doing the one thing that people kept telling me over and over I couldn't do. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one. The first choice I made was to go live off-campus with my grandmother during my first semester in college. I ask myself how could I be so stupid? But you will see just how stupid I was. It's Okay to Use Your Big Girl Voice
Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem. My Goal is rather simple, to let the readers know, they too are not alone. If you are a survivor, even if you still feel like a victim, this is my personal message to you. "You are strong, and it wasn't your fault. Tell someone... tell anyone...tell everyone... We shift from victims to survivors when we speak up and tell our stories. There's nothing wrong with you, and the light will shine again. Fix Me, I'm Broken
Walking into an empty house is normal to me. I guess I got tired of saying 'I'm home' when nobody is home to reply. It wasn't always like this. I remember when our family was close. Now we don't see each other any more. We don't talk to each other. We don't eat with each other. We don't ACKNOWLEDGE each other. This all happened after my 'Mother' killed herself. My father blames me. This is my story about how I learned to not count on anyone else but myself. I'm broken. I'm used. No one can fix me. But when the New Boy in town tries to fix me, everything will change. Good change or Bad change, I don't know. Only time will tell. An old giant fur creature spends his final days with the children he loves in the woods of Hinaizu. Hinaizu, with its many secrets and history to unravel in various stories. A love story about two spirits born in the same sex bodies, oblivious to finding themselves back in another life as soulmates to be married and bound for each other. A strange man from the older era converses to someone regarding humanity and its spirit despite the age of technology. An astronaut sets his course of destination to a nearby planet where he will give humanity hope to once again be a part of life itself. These tales of loneliness, isolation, longing, grief; bittersweet love and hope; perseverance and care are like feelings buried beneath the ocean of tears and of water lapping across the shoreline in the quietness of the setting sun soon turning into night that reveals the darkness that we hide within ourselves. Personal, provocative and passionate, I've Felt It: Stories is a work that elevates the need of human connection in the times of where we thought everything is lost in time's embrace yet through the tunnel of darkness that we go through in our lives, there is sometimes a trace of hope to be found in this world of troubling times. Trapped. Surrounded on all sides by an overpowering barrier visible only to you. A barrier consisting of your thoughts, your dreams, your hopes, separating you from the rest of the world. Thoughts struggling to escape, the memories vivid in your head. You're trying to push back the flood of emotion, trying to break down that wall that's separating you from the judgement that awaits you at the other side. Your fears captivate you and morph you into a new person entirely. Surrounded on all sides and breaking into cold perspiration. Enveloping you is that same fear, gripping at your heart.
