Humankind has conquered interstellar travel and colonized nearby systems. Not too long ago, First Contact was made with an alien sentient civilization on one of the colonies. A slow process of contact has then been developing, and we still have much to find out about one another.

However, it seems that contact may have impacted humankind far deeply than expected after a 12 year old girl claims to be a scientist from the First Contact reincarnated.

Follow Eli, a young journalist, and Gisila, an older CEO, as their lives -- and human society -- is affected by the news.

LGBT characters prominent and sex is discussed by characters, but do not expect sex scenes. Curse words may show up.

Updates weekly 'till this place catches up with my most recent writing. I'm about 40 pages ahead of here so we should be on schedule all the way. Keep in mind you're seeing a first draft.

Clackers by Arundel2000
5 parts Complete
There is nothing as powerful in life as your first love. When this happens after clacking to a strange new world where people reverse age-let's say it's complicated. Demalynn is a seventeen-year-old girl from a small town who one day hears a loud 'clack' and is transported to the planet Saffire. Naked. Then things really get weird. No child has ever been born on Saffire; clackers make up the entire population. All people who clack under thirty reverse age: each year they grow younger. As an awkward teenager plagued by panic attacks who dabbles in comedy, Demalynn just wants to go home to be re-united with her family. Citizens over thirty grow old and are forced to mine the mineral that powers giant cooling stations to keep the planet habitable. Citizens solve disputes with gladiatorial combat. The prophesy of The Coming In Saffire's time of greatest need, a child will be born to a special woman, the Gravidarum. The child, who has no father of this planet, will be known as the Unum, a child to lead Saffire. The Helper will battle to keep the Gravidarum safe until the Unum is born. The people of Saffire have been waiting to see The Coming fulfilled. Demalynn assembles a group of clackers to get her home, the most important of which is a fellow clacker: eighteen-year-old Aiden. It is not long before Jago, the ruler of Saffire, learns that a woman on Saffire is pregnant and he unleashes all his power to prevent the birth. Jago will not give up power. Demalynn is surprised to find out she is the Helper, but is astounded to learn the identity of the Gravidarum. Demalynn must battle to stay alive and fumbles towards the realization that Aiden is much more than a close friend. She is certain, with the certainty that only a seventeen-year-old can possess, that Aiden is her only true love. Demalynn is desperate to find a way back home until she must make a choice: stay with Aiden on Saffire or go back home and re-unite her family. There's no place like home.
First Contact by coderot
30 parts Complete
First Contact is a multidimensional narrative connecting centuries, continents and sub/cultures, unravelling coincidences and conspiracies, computer viruses, and viruses which infect your mind. It details a kaleidoscope of revolutions and counter revolutions, football hooligans and Satanists, mutants and mutilations. Through drugs, drums and dreams, the interface is breached, and the message downloaded, and interpreted. The crew of the Mnemosyne detect a mysterious transmission, originating from a hostile planet. Meanwhile, but not meantime, a group of boys living in a sleepy Australian town realize that they are not ordinary kids, but actually deepcover agents from another galaxy. Intergalactic war is summoning them back home. It seems like pop superstar Michael Jackson is also heading their way! Elsewhere in this anthology, two adventurous spirits try to restore contact with a lost colony of violent criminals. A star goes supernova, sparking panic and upheaval around the world. A frightening apparition is glimpsed deep inside a Yorkshire mine, beckoning "Come back to me!" In nearby London, a struggling shopkeeper meets her dark half and her "bizniss" finally goes ballistic. First Contact is a short story and novella collection dating from 1989 to 2001. It is written in the style of a postmodern "pastiche": a work of art that imitates or borrows elements from a variety of different sources, in order to create a unique style or subvert the original meaning, make connections, and open a textual dialogue. Similarities to real people, places or events are entirely coincidental LOL! Images by Canva and Bing Image Create.

Shoshone Station: The Galactic Consortium season 2

180 parts Complete

Less than a year ago, they arrived over earth's sky. They call themselves the Galactic Consortium and they are human, or at least, simian - from the same genetic line as humans. They claim to have terraformed this planet centuries ago to serve as a base for their exploration of this galaxy. What happened to the settlers, why none of us remember this, remains a mystery. For America the concerns are more immediate. Will the Consortium accept our independence? Shoshone Station is the first joint enterprise, a solar power, space station parked in geostationary orbit over Denver, Colorado. It's been "gifted" to America, but as Sherman Lannister takes command he wonders just how much control the new American crew will really have. After all, what do they know about running a space station? For Sophia, a homeless transgender youth from Denver, the station is a second chance at a new life. But what will she do living amongst the stars?
