At two months old, Caillum was left in front of the gates of the pack that he grew to know as his home. Growing up with no family or relatives, it was hard for Caillum to cope up. But that did not discourage him. Believing that the world could always use a little compassion, he made a promise to himself. If no one was willing to give the world their compassion, he would give his cheerfully.
For someone who has not known love first hand, Caillum has a lot to give. Unfortunately, no one wants it. To them, Caillum was an unbidden presence and as he grew, he had learned his place in people's lives. Understanding how things work in the world he lives in, Caillum clings to the hope of meeting his mate. Who, one day as he believed, will give him his happiness.
But happiness is subjective. When Caillum found out that his absence would please David, without hesitation, Caillum gave the very thing David wanted all his life. No regrets, just a heavy heart.
