Tylah Willis loves to surf. It is her escape from the world. Her parents are going through things and her brother hangs around with druggies and thugs and she doesn't like it, even though one of them is her boyfriend. She has no friends so she has no one to talk to or help her through these things.
Her parents divorce, so she if forced to breakup with her boyfriend and move to Chicago. When she moved there, she has plans to remain in her friendless state so her crazy ex doesn't find her.
Her plan goes out the window when she meets Carter Mitchells. He is a hot, god-like being who takes and interest in Tylah. She also fancies him and is in with his friend group.
What happens when they get closer? What happens when secrets are revealed? What happens when the wrong people find them?

I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace!
