In the beginning of when remnant was made there was only darkness and two brothers. Both competed against each other in creation, one brother would make the good things while the other made things to destroy his other brothers creations. At one point they both decided that maybe instead of trying to compete against each other why not create something together. That is how humanity was created, but they weren't alone for the creatures of Grimm always tried to destroy humankind.  There was one human they were especially proud of since they gave him a special power that they called his semblance. His semblance always healed him, he could never die from mortal wounds or poisoning or become sick and die while at the same time he never aged because of it. This is his story about how he lost the meaning of life, until he meets a little girl with a red hood. (i do NOT own RWBY)All Rights Reserved

Remnant is a land full of legends and stories. Some are more popularly known such The Story of the Seasons and the legend of the Silver-Warriors. However, there is one legend that has been long forgotten and buried deep in Remnant's history. This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it?
