Lilly's mother died trying to protect her from seemingly evil creatures which she now finds comfort in; demons. Lately, her abilities and curiosity have been getting stronger. But when a seemingly perfect boy named Grayson transfers to her school, she finds that not everything is as it seems. Because this boy is hiding a secret that could bring destruction and chaos to the world of light and dark. When these two souls collide, the result will either be pure destruction, or equilibrium.

Kaneonuskatew, or Kane, was known as one of the most prolific demons after his murder of an esteemed adviser's daughter. He begins questioning his position with the demons, wondering how everything suddenly changed. He learns of his past and how his entire life up to this point was based on a lie created by the one he calls father: Lucifer himself. Now, the fight is with Kane, where he tries to battle what he's become and what's expected of him compared to he was and who he could have been.
