This story takes place just after Michael Rose gets out of the Spokane Washington Police Academy. He is then offered a position as a deputy in his hometown police department as a deputy. Upon arriving, he realizes that his new partner is his high school crush. This is a story about how Michael's life is completely changed in a way that he never thought that it would be. What will happen when he gets paired with the person that he has had a crush on since he was a freshman in high school? Will something blossom between them? Does the other person feel the same way? You will just have to read and find out.

Noah moved to a new town just a few weeks before school starts back up again. He meets a few people on his bus and they end up best friends. One of them tells them about a party that they got invited to. They invite Noah and their other friend along. Noah gets sort of lost but finds his way to a corner. He hangs out there for a while until he feels someone bump into him. He's the one who says sorry and the other questions It. The question soon gets taken back. Someone calls the others name "Logan" Noah knew the boy was hot and he seemed nice, but he never got to ask him Anything. He snaps out of his thoughts when on of his friends show up. Noah asks them if they know anything about Logan and his friend responses with no but he's friends with someone who's friends with Logan. Soon the conversation turns into who can drink more. The next day Noah remembers that his friend said to leave notes in Logan's locker. And Noah does just that. After a while Logan needed to know who was leaving him the notes. He skipped class just to find out, but he got caught and sent to detention. Noah was also there for passing notes in class. Logan groaned an annoyance when he remembered Noah from the party. He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays.
