Lupe Wilk is an alpha she-wolf who despises vampires and will take on the place of her father as Alpha of the North-american Pack when he steps down. She's tough and won't take shit from anyone and certainly doesn't need a mate to help her rule. But her dad doesn't agree as he continually tries to mate her off to the annoying alpha jerk Shane. And to complicate things even more, Damian, a werewolf-hating vampire, arrives in town and the attraction between Lupe and him is undeniable.
