Dakota Lars is the type of girl who is fun, outgoing, witty,  smart, beautiful, cares about her family and friends, cares about Marching Band ( also considers MB a sport... btw it is by Webster dictionary definition), treats her snare drum like her baby, loves the Drum Major who is her best friend, is the Beta's daughter, and happens to have gained a full ride music scholarship to Ohio State University. Two problems stand in her way, the snarky alpha's boy called Carter Smith, whom she hates more than anything; and the fact she doesn't want a mate.

Carter Smith is the type of boy who is loud, funny, annoyingly handsome, dorky cares about football, the next party, his family, his pack, and his future mate. Also happens to hate the Beta's daughter, (who happens to be his best friend's twin and his sister's best friend) with everything in him. Carter also dislikes the School's marching band after hearing that the students and community only go to the games to watch the Halftime show. 

However, when the two of them discover that they're each other's mates, they find out one cares about having a mate and the other not so much. How will the two cope with sharing the field, pack, graduation, and dealing with each other's feelings about the other, whilst trying not to rip the other throats out? "I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. My band geek." --------------------------------- Hudson Diamante is the son and heir of KD Tech, a worldwide technology company. His parents decide to home a transfer student for publicity. Alannah Parker is a girl from the UK, transferring because she's considered a musical prodigy. She has an checkered past, not letting it show by covering it with a bright smile and happy attitude. Hudson isn't too fond of this transfer student. Before he even met her, he would call her a 'band geek.' He doesn't need any distractions, and needs to focus on his school work. Imagine his shock when he realizes this 'band geek' is prettier than most girls at his school. Once Alannah arrives in sunny Los Angeles, she is attracted to Hudson, but she doesn't need another guy like him in her life. She is there for one and one reason only-- to get away. She has a gift, one which she uses to escape. Escape her life, her sadness, her problems. Once drowned in music, she drops her facade of happiness.

Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!

After a bunch of run ins with the both of them, Sammi makes up a rumor about James, insinuating it was Emma who started it. James watches Emma embarrass herself on multiple different occasions, And still wont explain why he is upset with her. But, after Sammi gets a football player to put a cockroach in Emma's hair in class, Emma runs out to leave. She then runs into James, who Offers to give her a ride home. He then tells her he fiund out it was Sammi who started the rumor. And to make it up to her, he brings her to see her favorite series, 'Raven-Man' at the Drive-in theatre.
