What happens when a family is stuck in the middle of a blood bath and have no way of getting out without dying? But then Gage comes along. He helps to save the family..... without getting them killed. This runaway also has to figure out how to survive, with the family. Now their lives are in his hands. He can't get out of it now. And what about there 16 year old daughter? The girl that hates him because he had to come along and rescue them. He made her seem like she was a weakling, so poor and helpless. But she was also grateful for his presence. But how much? Can they find love in a place so dark and cold? With no place to go to except each others shoulder to cry on, they find out they can work together, and maybe even stop this war that might end the world.
