Samantha is an intelligent girl. She may not come from a rich family but her fame rose to its peak when she became the Editor-in-chief of a school gazette. She is called to be perfect, only that the world she lived in caged her in expectations and risks. Will someone find the key and set her free? Daniel is a varsity player. A 6 ft tall 3rd year college in tousled hair and masculine pace. A stubborn one. A boy who sees his purpose in dribbling balls and writing poems. A boy who reflects an image of a heartbreaker and a playboy as what others say but a man in contrary of what others think. Will he be the one to save Samantha or be the one who needs saving from her? This isn't a mere story about love and sacrifice. This is a story of two people caged in the solace of survival and hope. Two people wandering on actions and expressions. Two people that are both Lost in Words.

After her sister died she was forced to grow up. To prepare for a title she never wanted and fulfill the expectations of her pack. As much as Samantha wanted to be an ordinary she-wolf with no responsibilities on her shoulders, it seems... inevitable. This is what she's been training for, this is her destiny...but her destiny could always change. Nothing lasts forever, not even mates. On her 18th birthday, she's thrown into a tornado of emotions, little to none has her back, and betrayal is right around the corner. Will she forgive those that hurt her? Or would she rather go to war... Daddy's little princess isn't a princess anymore, but a Queen. It's her game. Her rules. Her life. CheckMate.
