For real though:

Lance escapes the brothel the Galra forced him to work in. Getting gravely injured though. Hunk is a kind stranger that aids Lance. Lance spins a lie that he is a pirate captain that just lost everything. Lance offers Hunk a spot in his new crew. As the two journey looking for new crew members they find them in the most unlikeliest places, an inn, a shack, a fight ring, a barrel, and an enemy ship.
