Percy gets betrayed, blah blah blah. 

After the two time hero of Olympus gets hurt by the one he thought to be his soulmate, he asks Zeus for Death.  The Olympian council is outraged, and in their anger, "accidently summons" the Zodiac Council. 

Only the Zodiac Council is never "accidently summoned". They know all and they see all.  Impressed by his actions, the Zodiac makes him their champion, and gives him the choice to bring one person back from the stars. 

Zeus then gets a question from Artemis and....
