Music is her friend.

No, no, she has a normal life. Only moved once, people don't bully her, but, she isn't noticed often either.

(Y/N) is a social awkward bean, and usually can't find anything in common with others.

Hence, the 'no friends' thing.

When an ad for a companion, something called a 'Squip', appears on her {insert fav music app}, of course she is interested.

She convinces her mother to buy it for her, and chaos consumes from there.
