Son of the Rhine

Alois joined the Army in 1915. His Great-grandfather being a Veteran of the Prussian-Franco war of 1870 he urns for the glory of war, but as he hears the horror stories of the men in the field he is afraid of getting shoved into nothing more than a meat grinder. As he battle between his own fear and his orders as a soldier, he ventures to put honor before his own safety. His story shows a man putting valor and courage for his country in the face of death as well as showing the inner mind of a soldier.
