"I said, do you understand" he spit through clenched teeth, "y-yes, I'm sorry" I whispered, a new wave of tears making their appearance. "Good girl, now I need you to keep being a good girl, okay?" nodding, my eyes met his dark ones. His form towered over me, making me feel small and irrelevant. "Words, Embry!" He demanded as I stuttered out a quiet yes. I studied him cautiously as he walked towards the far end of the room, shuffling through drawers before stalking back towards me and crouching down. I sucked in a breath as I saw the knife in his hand, his face held a mischievous grin as it glinted in the light. "Now baby-girl, you see, as much as I hate to, you need to be punished, do you know why?" Warning! Recently freed members of a cult search for their missing members. Everything is not as it seems in Winfell, where six children disappeared under mysterious circumstances, only for four them to be found ten years later telling strange stories of monsters and the Underworld, with no explanation for where they've been. Or what happened to two of them. Suffice to say nothing is fine. *** Reasons to read the Olympus Drive Series 1. LGBTQ rep throughout 2. Happy endgame gays/lesbians and polyamory as well asexuality and grey aces 3. Lots of references to Greek/Roman Mythology 4. Trans, genderfluid, and non-binary characters with arcs that don't revolve around their sexuality 5. Plenty of happy/positive relationships 6. But your favorite ship WILL be a 10,000 year old space alien and an undead detective 7. All dark/heavy topics are addressed or resolved in a positive manner 8. Postive female friendships and romantic relationships, without cheating 9. Essentially any relationship structure or sexuality you can think of comes up at one point or another 10. The queen of the dead gets a sword forged from blood Trigger Warning: Some violence and creature violence. Mild peril. Fantasy violence throughout. Extensive injuries shown. Brief fantasy violence (a character is shot point blank but we know the character cannot be injured, that type of thing). Peril to child characters throughout, though it is fantasy peril. An outgoing, strong minded, independent, raging homosexual, lover to all, charming British soul. They meet by accident after a tough day at the office for Alex. A mistaken identity was all it took for a tiny little kiss. A moment blown all out of proportion for the Christian-bred Miss Thompson and her life turns more miserable than she anticipated for every time she turned around...Mitch was there behind her. Something about Mitch was new and fresh and her soul was just what Alex needed (little did she know). Secrets from the past are brought to the surface. A sad ending to a young lady's life. A realisation that family isn't always blood related. Alcohol isn't a medicine. Violence isn't a key. Hearts were never meant to be broken. Two things to take away: you never know what is going on in someone's head and the most important thing...you never know what happens behind closed doors. A/N just a random story about two people who meet accidentally. Plays with gender norms and very inclusive of LGBTQ (being a member myself). Could be triggering I'm not sure as some identity questions are thrown around. It does include smoking, drinking, some homophobia, profanities, violence and smut. Also anything in brackets with A/N means authors note and that's just me leaving a little comment.
