Asher levitan has just turned 18, and he is one of the brave few in the Eskas empire who will take on the trials of Kinsla island.  
He and the others will be dropped off on the remote island for one full week.  They will be forced to fend for themselves in the dangerous wilderness of this enchanted forest.  Their ultimate goal, is to form a pact with a creature of magical nature.  Creatures that cannot be found in any other place in the world, and the thought of this trial has him more excited than he's ever been before.  
But how will he react when he finds out that everything he was ever told about these trials and even the island itself was a lie?
 When he gets sucked up into the secrets of Kinsla island, how will he react?   His life will be changed forever and all he has ever known will be torn apart.   
Once he discovers that his existence is not what he had thought, will he be able to push through the cruel fate of an immortal?
