Six years, and Regina thinks about her every minute, every second, every breath.

She can still hear the six, haunting, deafening clock chimes that rang out mere seconds after Emma's life ended. Finished.

TRIGGER WARNING: Major character death! Obviously. This is an ANGST-HEAVY story. If angst is not your cup of tea, I would not recommend this fic. This fic deals with some dark heavy stuff, including: drug use, some strong language, and a form of death you may not like. (No spoilers!)

Set eight years after the season six finale. The prologue and epilogue are set six years after THAT. Emma and Regina are in an established marriage. Henry is a big part of this because.....I love him and he deserves recognition.
