MESSED UP

Yul was shocked. He stared at the woman before him intently. The woman, too, gasped.

"Yul?" Mrs. Jung touched her little brother's face.

Yul did not know what to do. He let his sister hugged him whilst crying, uttering things he did not wish to hear any more. He wished he never came here.

"Yul...how did you find me? It has been years..." Mrs. Jung cupped Yul's face and hugged the man again.

"How are you...?" Yul asked without thinking. He did not know what to say.

"I'm fine. Come in Yul." Mrs. Jung pulled Yul's hand into the house.

Yul's eyes spotted a picture of his sister with Sooyeon on the table near the door. Yul's hand trembled in fear.

"I can't be long..." Yul shouted a little out of fright.

Mrs. Jung paused. She was bewildered by her little brother's action.

"I came to look after you. That's all." Yul looked at the big frame of his sister's family.

"You have a daughter?" Yul stared at Sooyeon's picture.

"Yes. Jung Sooyeon. I, myself is a Jung. I don't use Kwon anymore after everything that happened..."

Yul nodded feebly. He looked at his sister.

"I better get going. I may see you again but don't tell anyone about this meeting. Mother is still the same." Yul lied.

Mrs. Jung nodded and hugged her brother before waving him goodbye.
